A.T.R.'s mission is to offer the highest quality training to organizations that provide services in the areas of at-risk youth, cultural diversity, human resource development and human relations intervention. Our training can help your organization expand its capability in maximizing service quality, and increase employee knowledge and commitment to your customers. We’re making a difference in the lives of “at-risk” children. AVANT TRAINING RESOURCES, INC. wants your children to excel in life. The child did not ask to be born. As adults it is our responsibility to our children to help them become productive citizens in society. Every child deserves a happy childhood. Every child deserves a chance at a decent and positive life. Some families and the neighborhoods children live in are tough places to grow up and become productive citizens. It’s harder to get a fair chance when you’re growing up in difficult circumstances.
When the child grows up in a community that feels hopeless and helpless, what chance does that child have? One important way to reduce risk is through teaching social skills. ‘Y.E.S. PROGRAM: YOUTH EXPOSED TO SUCCESS’ - Social Skill Curriculum, Elementary School Edition will instruct at-risk youth on how to deal with everyday problems, more serious problems and even important life decisions without resorting to the use of those anti-social behaviors that were modeled by family and community. At-risk youth who have been instructed in effective social skills are more likely to develop good problem solving skills, make good decisions and wise choices, which will translate into a better chance for succeeding in life.
